Bharti Telelink & Fashion's

This shop is a bit unusual because we have two different things going on at once. It’s called Bharti Telelink & Fashion's and you can find us in Beawar at the Guruvatika Market on Bhagat Chouraha Road 3. On one side of the room, we have the mobile phones and the glass cases for accessories. On the other side, there are racks with clothes and different fashion items. It happened that way because the market is busy and people like to look at both things when they are out. When I’m not helping someone pick out a new data plan or a charger, I’m usually folding shirts or straightening the hangers. The Bhagat Chouraha area is always bustling, especially on weekends when families come out to the market. We have a couple of large mirrors on the walls for the clothing side, which makes the whole shop look a bit bigger than it actually is. The ceiling fan is almost always running because it gets quite stuffy with all the stock inside. I usually keep a notebook on the counter to write down what we need to order for next week. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood come in just to look at the new phone models. We don't have a lot of help, so it's mostly just me or one other person running back and forth between the two sections. It makes for a long day, but it’s interesting work here in the Guruvatika Market.
