Balaji Watch & Mobile

Balaji Watch & Mobile is located over at Nasirabad Shaheed Smark near Fram JI Chowk. It is a very busy corner of the world. We spend our time working on old wristwatches that need new batteries or a bit of oil, and we also handle mobile phone issues. The shop is right where the traffic from the chowk congregates. You can hear the horns honking all day long from the Shaheed Smark area. We have a small glass display for the watches and some mobile covers hanging on the wall. The space is narrow, so if three people come in at once, it feels very crowded. I use a magnifying glass for the watch gears which can be hard on the eyes after a few hours. We get people coming in from all parts of Nasirabad because we are near such a well-known landmark. The Fram JI Chowk area is always moving. We have a small wooden stool for customers to sit on if they are waiting for a quick battery change. Sometimes the ceiling fan rattles a bit too much, but it is better than the heat. We don't really do anything fancy here at Balaji Watch & Mobile. It is just about getting the timepieces ticking again and fixing the screens that people crack. The evening is our busiest time when everyone is heading home through the chowk. We keep a few spare watch straps in a cardboard box under the counter.
