Arihant Engineering Works

Arihant Engineering Works is located on Munshi Rampal Marg, right in the Dhola Bhatta area. It’s a busy street with a lot of people moving around, so there’s always something to look at out the front door when we take a break. Our workshop is pretty straightforward. We deal with various engineering tasks, mostly focusing on fabrication and fixing parts for local businesses around the city. The walls are stained with oil, and there are tools hanging everywhere on the boards we put up. We don’t really have a set routine because every job that comes through the door is a little bit different from the last one. One day we might be welding a frame, and the next we’re trying to figure out why a piece of machinery won't turn properly. It’s just a few of us here, and we’ve worked together for a long time, so we don't need to talk much to get things done. We usually have a radio playing in the background to drown out some of the street noise from outside. The workbench is always cluttered with bolts, washers, and scrap metal that we might need for a future project. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s where we do our best work. We try to be fair with people and give them a straight answer about how long a repair will actually take. Sometimes parts take a while to arrive, which can be a real pain.
