Our mill office is on the first floor, shop number 39, inside the New Cloth Market. We are located right outside the Raipur Gate in the Sarangpur area of Ahmedabad. This market is a very old and famous spot for anyone in the textile trade. It is always crowded with people looking for deals and trucks trying to navigate the narrow gates. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise on the ground, but not much. The building has that old Ahmedabad charm, with high ceilings and a lot of history in the walls. We have been part of the 380002 business community for quite some time. The office is usually filled with the sound of people talking and calculators clicking. We don't have any modern art on the walls or designer lights. It is just a functional space with shelves full of fabric samples and ledgers. The Sarangpur area is famous for its food too, so lunch breaks are usually the best part of the day. We are just a bunch of regular people running a fabric mill business. We don't try to be something we are not. It is a tough business with a lot of competition, but we just keep our heads down and focus on the orders we have to fill each week. The rhythm of the market dictates how our day goes.
