Cip Machinery

We are located over in Phase 4 of the Gidc in Vatva. It’s a heavy industrial area, so there is always a lot of smoke and noise around the building. Cip Machinery is basically a large shed filled with parts, tools, and metal. The floor is concrete and usually has a few oil spots here and there. We don’t have air conditioning in the main work area, so it gets pretty warm during the summer months. Most of our day is spent around the machines, checking the settings or loading material. We wear heavy boots and clothes that we don’t mind getting dirty. It’s a practical environment. There is a small office area near the front where we keep the records, but most of the action happens in the back. We have a lot of regular workers who have been with us for years. We eat lunch together in a small corner where it's a bit quieter. The gate stays open most of the day to let the trucks in and out. It’s not the kind of place where you’d see a lot of decorations. We just have what we need to get the parts finished. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend the whole afternoon fixing it. That’s just how it goes in a place like this. We finish up, lock the gate, and head out into the Vatva traffic every evening.
