We are over here at 26, Sundervan Bunglows in Vastrapur. Being a food business in Ahmedabad means there is always a lot of movement. Deepkiran Foods started out pretty small and we are still kind of that way in our heads. The bungalow is where we handle most of the things. It gets quite crowded with the boxes and the different supplies we need. You can usually smell something good if you walk by at the right time. Our neighborhood is actually quite nice, and we like being tucked away in the bungalows instead of a big glass building. It makes it feel more like a family thing. We have a few people who have been with us since the start. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and making sure the quality is what it should be. If the delivery truck is late, we all get a bit worried, but it usually works out. Ahmedabad heat can be tough in the summer, so we keep the fans going all day. Sometimes we sit on the porch to take a break. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. We just focus on getting the food packed and sent out to the people who want it. It’s a lot of work, but seeing the products go out makes us feel like we’ve done something useful. We just take it one day at a time.
