Our office is at 37, Gokulnagar Soc, which is pretty close to the Jayamala Bus Stand here in Ahmedabad. Being an impex company, you’d expect something grand, but we just work out of a regular building in a residential society. It’s more comfortable that way. We deal with moving goods back and forth, mostly handling the paperwork and logistics side of things. The bus stand nearby means there’s always a lot of noise and people around, which is fine by us. It makes the area feel alive. Our desks are covered in shipping manifests and export documents. It gets a bit cluttered sometimes, especially when a big shipment is due. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just us, some phones, and the internet. We’ve been in Gokulnagar for a bit now, and the neighbors are used to seeing us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Gujarat. We just want to get the job done right and make sure things get where they need to go. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the street outside a bit muddy, but we still make it to the office. It’s a basic, functional place for a business that deals with the whole world from a small corner of Ahmedabad. We have a small kettle for making tea during the long afternoon shifts. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late, so we just wait it out and keep working on the logs.
