F&B Asst.

We’re over at 36 Prabhupark Society, which is right near the C.T.M Cross Road in Ahmedabad. If you’ve ever been through there, you know how loud and busy that intersection can get. We’ve got a small place where we handle food and beverage assistance. It’s mostly just us working behind the scenes to make sure things get delivered or prepped for other businesses. The office is a bit cramped because we have boxes and equipment taking up a lot of the floor space. We don’t really have a front desk or anyone to greet you; you just walk in and someone will be there working on something. It’s a lot of phone calls to suppliers and checking lists to make sure we didn't forget anything. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't had the time to get around to it. We’re more focused on getting the orders right. Being near C.T.M is handy because we can get around the city pretty easily, though the traffic is a headache most afternoons. We aren't a big corporation with uniforms or anything. We’re just regular people trying to keep a small business going. It gets stressful when there’s a big event and everything has to be perfect, but we manage to get through it every time. It is a lot of hard work but we enjoy it.
