Bawarchee & Shocolatery

We are located in the Pushpak Building, right across from the Auda Garden in Prahladnagar. It’s a nice area of Vejalpur. Having the garden right there is good because it brings a lot of people out for walks in the evenings. We do a bit of everything here—cooking meals and also making chocolates. The shop smells like a mix of spices and cocoa most of the time. We have some shelves where the chocolates are displayed in boxes. The kitchen is in the back where we prepare the main food. It’s not a huge place, so it can feel a bit crowded when the evening rush starts. I usually spend my mornings checking the inventory and seeing what needs to be made for the day. The windows get a bit dusty from the road outside, so we have to wipe them down often. We’ve been in this building for some time now and know most of the people who work in the nearby offices. Some days are very quiet and I just sit near the counter and watch the people in the garden. Other days we are running around trying to keep up with the orders. The chocolates take a lot of patience to get right, especially when it’s humid outside. It’s just our daily routine here in Ahmedabad. We keep the doors open from morning until the late evening.
