Caffix - The Tech Cafe

We are located in Advait Mall, occupying units 36 and 37. It is right near Sandesh Press Road. The idea was to have a place where you can get your phone or laptop looked at while having something to eat or a coffee. It gets a bit busy on the weekends when people are out shopping in the mall. We have some tables for sitting and a counter where the tech stuff happens. Sometimes the smell of coffee mixes with the smell of electronics, which is a bit weird but we are used to it now. It is not a silent library kind of place. There’s usually some music playing and the sound of people talking over their lunch. We started this because we liked gadgets and good food, so we put them together in one spot. The mall isn't the biggest in town, but it’s a nice spot for us. Our staff is mostly young people who know their way around a motherboard or a sandwich press equally well. Some days the espresso machine acts up, or we run out of a specific screen for a repair, and we have to tell people to wait a day. We try to keep things simple and honest. You bring your broken device, we see if we can fix it, and you sit down for a bit. It’s a practical setup. No fancy uniforms or anything, just us in our regular clothes.
