If you are looking for Vasant Masala Pvt. Ltd., you have to head over to the Lilamani Trade Centre on Dudheshwar Road. We are on the first floor, in units A-117 and 118. It is right near the BRTS Circle, so you can imagine how much noise and traffic there is outside all day long. Being on the first floor means we are constantly hauling bags up and down, which keeps us fit, I suppose. The trade centre is a busy place with a lot of different businesses, but you can usually tell where we are just by the smell of the spices. Some days it is turmeric, other days it might be something stronger that makes everyone's eyes water. We have a few rooms joined together to handle the grinding and the packing. It is a bit of a maze with all the sacks piled up. We don't have a big corporate setup. It is more of a hands-on environment where everyone chips in. The office part is just a couple of desks shoved into a corner where we keep the files. We have been at this location for a long time, and the walls are covered in calendars and old notes. We don't really bother with making the place look like a showroom because that isn't the point. We just focus on getting the masala ready for the local shops and distributors who come by every afternoon.
