Vanza Bandhani Textiles

We are based out of No. 2 Nanddeep Apartments, which is on Sarkari Vasahat Road in Vastrapur. It is a bit different because we are in an apartment building rather than a big commercial mall. This gives the place a much more relaxed feel, almost like working from home. We have piles of Bandhani textiles everywhere. If you know anything about Bandhani, you know it involves a lot of tying and dyeing, so there is always that faint scent of dye in the air. We spend our afternoons untying knots or checking how the colors turned out on the latest batch of fabric. Vastrapur is a nice area, and being on Sarkari Vasahat Road means we are tucked away from the heaviest traffic. It is mostly just a few of us here. We do not have big neon signs or anything like that. People usually find us because they heard about us from a friend or they live nearby. We keep the textiles organized as best as we can, but with so much cloth, things tend to get a bit messy. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the new patterns we want to try out. It is a simple setup but it works for what we do. The apartment has enough space for us to store the stock and handle the daily orders. It is a quiet way to run a textile business without all the noise of a main market.
