Ultratech Cement Ltd(Ready Mix Concrete)

We are based over at Somnath Nagar Society in Naranpura. It is a busy part of Ahmedabad, especially on Vijaynagar Road where the trucks are always moving. This office handles the ready mix concrete side of things for Ultratech Cement Ltd(Ready Mix Concrete). Most days here are loud and dusty, just the way a construction business goes. We have been in this spot for a while now. The building is number 31. People drop by to talk about their building projects or to check on deliveries. It is not a fancy office with big glass walls or anything. It is just a practical place where we keep the logs and make sure the concrete gets to where it needs to be on time. The heat in Ahmedabad can be something else in the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. Our neighbors in the society know us well by now because of all the activity. It is a local operation through and through. We deal with contractors and guys building their own homes. There is always a lot of paperwork to sort out on the desks. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard for the trucks to get out quickly, but we manage it somehow. It is just a normal work life here. We focus on getting the mix right and making sure the drivers know their routes. That is pretty much what we do every day at this Naranpura location.
