Our address is 515, 4-B in the Tirthbhumi Society, which is tucked behind the Mony Hotel over on the Isanpur Highway in Ahmedabad. Being near a big highway like that means there is always traffic and the sound of trucks, which I guess makes sense for a cement business like Ultratech Cement Ltd. and the Aditya Birla Group. The office isn't right on the main road, so you have to look for the society entrance. It is a pretty standard setup for a workspace. We have our desks, our computers, and plenty of files related to the projects we are helping with. Ahmedabad is a big, fast city, and Isanpur is a key area for logistics. We spend most of our time here coordinating with different sites and making sure the supply chain doesn't hit any snags. It can get pretty dusty with the wind and the traffic, but that’s just life on the edge of the highway. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical space for practical people. When people come by, it’s usually for business, not for a tour. We just handle the day-to-day grind of the cement industry. It’s about keeping things moving and making sure we stay organized in the middle of all the city's growth. Most of the staff has been here a while and knows how the local market works.
