We are located at number 238, near the Shahwadi Octroi Naka in Shahwadi Village. Being in the Narol area means there's always a lot of dust and big trucks moving around the roads. We are a processing unit. It’s loud and there’s always steam or some kind of smell from the machines. It’s not a place for fancy clothes or shoes. We all wear work gear that can get dirty. The floor is concrete and usually wet in some places. We’ve been here for many years. We don't have a proper office, just a small cabin with a desk where we keep the logs and some old pens. Most of the day is spent out with the machines. We have a small crew and everyone knows what they are doing. We don't need much supervision. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. There is a small tea shop just outside the gate where we go for breaks during the afternoon. We don't have a website that we update or anything like that. People know where to find us if they need processing work done. It’s hard work and the shifts can be long. We just focus on getting the fabric processed and loaded onto the trucks. The gates are usually open all day. It’s an industrial life, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep the machines running.
