Pranjal Spices

Out here in the Naroda GIDC industrial estate, things are always moving. Our spot is at Plot No- 16 on the Naroda GIDC Road, and it is a pretty typical setup for this part of town. There is always noise from the nearby factories and trucks rumbling past our gate. Pranjal Spices is basically a small team of us working in the heat to get the grinding and packing finished every day. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just show up, open the shutters, and start the machines. The floor gets dusty with spice powder pretty quickly, so we are always sweeping. It is a lot of hard work, especially when the summer heat hits Gujarat. We mostly focus on getting the right mix and making sure the bags are sealed properly before they go out. Sometimes the neighbors from other plots come over to borrow a tool or just to complain about the traffic on the main road. It is a community of sorts. We have been in this plot for some time now and we know the delivery drivers by name. We don't do anything flashy. It is just about keeping the business running and making sure we don't fall behind on the orders. The office is just a small corner with a desk and a fan that squeaks. It works for us and we keep going day after day.
