You can find Parikh Global up on the ninth floor of Ratnanjali Square. We are right near Gloriya Restaurant in Ahmedabad. It’s a decent spot, though waiting for the elevator in the morning can take forever when everyone is trying to get to their offices at once. We started this LLP to handle various global trade bits and pieces. There isn’t much to say about us that sounds like a big corporate story. We are just a group of people who know how to source things and get them where they need to go. Our office is usually full of samples and half-empty cups of tea. It’s not the tidiest place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on the phone negotiating and checking on shipments. Sometimes things go wrong with the shipping lines and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting out a mess that wasn't even our fault. That’s just the nature of this business, though. We don’t have a fancy website or a PR team. We just talk to people directly. It’s simpler that way. Ahmedabad is a fast city, and we try to keep up without losing our heads. We’ve built some good relationships over the years just by being honest about what we can and can’t do. We’re just regular folks trying to run a decent business. Sometimes the office gets quite noisy when everyone is on the phone at the same time, but you get used to it. We mostly eat lunch at our desks while reading through manifests.
