Kafil Food Products

At Kafil Food Products, things start early in the morning. Being located at Plot No. A1/606 in Phase 4 of the Gidc, we are surrounded by other factories, but you can usually tell our place by the smell of what we’re making that day. It’s a busy environment where the sound of the packaging machines is the constant background noise. We spend a lot of time checking the weights and making sure the seals on the bags are tight so nothing spills out during transport. The floor is always kept as clean as we can manage, given how much stuff moves through here every hour. We have a small team of people who have been with us for a long time, and we all just sort of know our roles without having to talk about it too much. It gets pretty warm in the middle of the day, especially near the machines, but we’re used to it by now. There’s always a truck backing in or pulling out of the driveway, which makes the yard a bit crowded sometimes. We don't have any flashy signs or a big marketing team; we just focus on the production side and getting the boxes stacked on the pallets. It’s steady work, and it feels good to see the finished products leaving the gate at the end of the day. We’re just a regular part of the industrial landscape here and we enjoy the daily routine of the factory.
