We are located out on the Rakanpur Santej Road. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always a bit of dust and a lot of heavy trucks passing by the gate. Madhupuri Food Products has been at this spot, number 795, for quite a while now. It’s a factory setting, so it’s usually noisy and smells like whatever we are processing that day. We don't have a fancy reception area with a sofa. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor checking the machines or the bags of ingredients. It’s hard work and the days can be very long. We start early to beat the heat, especially during the summer months when it gets really hot in Gujarat. We have a bunch of local people working with us. We aren't a big corporation with layers of management and meetings. If something breaks, we get a tool and fix it ourselves. If a batch isn't right, we dump it and start over. It’s about being practical and getting the food products out to the customers on time. The office is just a small room at the front where we keep the tax records and files. We focus much more on the production side than the paperwork. It’s a straightforward business we run here. We make things, we pack them, and we send them out. There’s no secret to it, just keeping the machines running and making sure everyone is doing their part correctly. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how it is.
