Kesar Spices

We are located on the first floor of Madhukant Complex. It’s right across from the Hindi High School in Dariyapur. You have to walk up the stairs to find us at No-116. The area gets pretty crowded, especially when school lets out. We handle different kinds of spices here. It always smells like cumin and turmeric in the hallway. We've been in Bordal Pura for some time now. The office isn't very big. We have bags stacked up against the walls. Sometimes it’s hard to move around when a new shipment comes in. We spend the morning checking the quality of the seeds and powders. It’s dusty work, but it’s what we do. My uncle started this and now we just keep it running. We don't have a website or anything like that. People usually just find us because they know the building. The windows stay open to let the air in, but you still hear the traffic from the street below. We mostly sell to local shops nearby. It’s a steady pace most days. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of sacks get ahead of us. It is just a regular spice business. The Madhukant Complex is an old building, so the elevators don't always work right. We usually just use the stairs anyway. Some of the labels on the bags are handwritten. We don't see the need for fancy printed ones. It’s just honest work.
