Down in Phase IV of the Vatva Gidc area, you’ll find our workshop at Plot No 2305. It’s right in the middle of the industrial estate, which means there is always noise from trucks and other factories nearby. Kartik Engineers Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this Gidc Vatva spot for a while. We aren't a massive corporation with a hundred managers. Usually, you’ll see the same few faces every day. The air inside the unit is thick with the smell of metal and oil, which is pretty standard for this line of work. We spend most of our time at the machines, making sure the parts we produce meet the requirements. It’s hard work and the summer heat in the shed can get pretty intense, but we manage. We aren’t big on talking about ourselves much. We just focus on the drawings and the metal. Most of our visitors are just delivery drivers or old clients who have been coming to this plot for years. If you’re looking for us, look for the big gate near the end of the lane. It’s a bit dusty around here because of all the construction in the estate, but the work inside stays steady. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or whatever else is happening in Vatva. It’s just a regular engineering life. Nothing more and nothing less for us every single day.
