Working out of the Dantali Industrial Estate keeps us pretty busy at Ic Ice Make Refrigration Pvt Ltd. Our place is located at Survey No226/227, which is a bit of a trek out on the Gota Vadsar Road near Ahmedabad City. It is an industrial area, so there is always noise and trucks moving around, which is just part of the daily life here. We deal with refrigeration units, which means a lot of technical talk about compressors and cooling cycles. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know the equipment inside and out. It isn't a glamorous job, especially when it is hot outside and we are trying to get a cooling system ready for shipping. The office is right next to where the work happens, so you can always hear the clanking of tools and the hum of machines. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or parts being stuck in transit, which makes things stressful, but we just work through it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world; we just want to make sure the units we build actually stay cold. People come to us because they know we are out here in Dantali doing the actual work. It is dusty and loud sometimes, but it is our workspace. We take our lunches together and complain about the traffic on the way home, just like everyone else around here.
