We are located in Madhusudan House in the Navrangpura area of Ahmedabad. Our office is right near the telephone exchange and not too far from Sardar Patel Hall. Navrangpura is a really busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of movement outside our windows. It’s a more central location than some of the industrial zones, but it still has that hectic Ahmedabad energy. The building we’re in is a standard office block, and our space is filled with desks, samples, and stacks of documents. We deal with textiles from all over, so there are always different types of fabrics sitting around waiting to be inspected or shipped. The office isn't particularly fancy, and we’ve got some mismatched chairs and a water cooler that makes a loud noise every ten minutes. We spend most of our hours on the phone or responding to emails, trying to keep track of where everything is going. The traffic on the main road can be a nightmare during rush hour, so most of us try to get in early or stay late to avoid the worst of it. We often go out for a quick snack at the stalls nearby when we need a break from the screens. It’s a steady pace of work, and we just try to keep things moving as best as we can. There’s always another shipment to check or a customer to call back before we head home for the day.
