Ganpati Silk Mills LLP operates out of Godown 08 in Sahjanand Estate. It's located in the Sarkhej area of Ahmedabad. We've been here a while now. The godown is where most of the work happens every day. It’s not a fancy office, just a big space for our silk stocks. You can find us easily if you know the Daskroi area. The roads around here get pretty busy during the morning hours when trucks are coming in. We spend a lot of time sorting through materials and making sure everything is in its right place. It’s dusty work sometimes. Most of our days are spent talking to local suppliers or checking the inventory lists. We don’t really do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they are already in the estate for other business. The weather in Ahmedabad is quite harsh, so the godown gets hot in the summer. We just keep the fans going and get on with the job. It’s a straightforward operation. We handle the silk, store it properly, and get it out to whoever needs it next. There isn't much to say other than we work hard and try to stay organized. If you ever visit Village Sarkhej, you'll see plenty of places like ours, but we've made this corner our own over the years. We keep things simple and don't complicate the process with too many rules or unnecessary steps. It is just us doing our daily work.
