DUKAAS FABRICS LLP

Dukaas Fabrics LLP is basically just us working out of a raw house in Thaltej Gam. We are located right behind Bhavin School at number 82 in Soham Raw House. It is a quiet residential area for the most part, which is a nice change from the loud parts of Ahmedabad. Since we are in a house, it doesn't feel like a typical sterile office. We have the fabrics stacked up in the rooms, and sometimes the living area gets taken over by boxes. Our routine is pretty standard. We wake up, get some chai, and start looking at what the customers are asking for. Being in Thaltej means we have to deal with the local traffic if we need to head towards the main city, but mostly we stay put. We handle everything ourselves, from looking at the cloth quality to making sure the courier guy picks things up on time. It gets a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of Gujarat. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there; we just want to get through the work pile and head home. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello, which makes it feel more like a community than just a business. It's nothing fancy, just a few rooms full of cloth and people working.
