Dk Masala

Dk Masala is our small operation located in Jasoda Nagar, right on Vatva Road. It’s a busy spot with lots of traffic passing by every day. We’ve been set up here for a good bit of time now. Our day usually starts early, before the road gets too loud. We spend our time working with different spices, getting the mixes right and making sure everything is bagged up properly. It’s a lot of manual work, and the smell of the spices stays on your clothes long after you leave for the day. We don’t have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the work gets done and the customers are satisfied with what they buy. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we work hard and keep things simple. We have a few machines for grinding, and they can be quite noisy when they’re all running at once. We don’t really do any advertising. Most people find us because they live nearby or they drive past on Vatva Road. We just keep our heads down and focus on the quality of the masala. It’s a simple life, running a business like this. We know the other shop owners on the street and we all just try to get through the workday. Sometimes we run out of space, but we find a way to make it work. It's not always perfect, but we do our best with what we have.
