We operate out of Shroff Chambers, which is right near the Paldi Cross Roads. If you are in the Paldi area, you probably know how busy that intersection gets. We focus on textile engineering, so our days are mostly spent thinking about machines and how they run. The office here isn't very large, but it’s where all the planning happens. We have drawings and technical manuals scattered around most of the time. It’s the kind of place where you might find a bit of grease on someone’s hands or a stray bolt on a desk. We’ve been in Shroff Chambers for a while and have seen the neighborhood change a lot. The traffic outside is constant, but inside we just focus on the engineering side of things. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just fix things or design ways to make them work better for the textile plants. Sometimes a client comes in with a broken part, and we have to figure out what went wrong. It's practical work that requires a lot of patience. We drink tea from the stall downstairs and talk about gear ratios or motor speeds. It's just a regular engineering firm making its way in a busy part of the city. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just keeping the machines turning like they should. It is not always easy, but we are used to the noise and the hard work.
