Textile Engineering Works

Working out of A/2 in the J. K. Estate on Dudheshwar Road means we are always surrounded by the hum of machines. This area has always been about making things, especially when it comes to the textile side of things. Our workshop is filled with parts and tools that have been around for a while. It smells like oil and metal, which is exactly how a workshop should smell if you ask me. We don't have a big reception desk or a shiny lobby. Instead, you’ll probably find us hunched over a piece of equipment or fixing something that stopped working right. The J.K. Estate is a busy place, and we are just one small part of it. We take pride in just doing the job without making a big fuss about it. Sentence lengths vary because sometimes we are too busy to talk much and other times we have a bit of a chat over lunch. It’s a straightforward life here. We get the parts in, we do the engineering work, and we get them back out to the customers. Dudheshwar Road can be a bit loud with the traffic, but once you are inside the estate, you just focus on the task at hand. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need to explain what we do to the locals. We just get on with the daily routine of keeping the machines running.
