Indian Textile Engineers

Our workshop for Indian Textile Engineers is located at C - 1/B - 4 on F Road. We are right in Phase - 1 of the GIDC, which is a pretty busy industrial area as you can imagine. If you are looking for us, we are right across from the Bank of Baroda, so that’s usually the easiest landmark to give people when they get lost. Working in the textile engineering field means there is always grease on someone's hands and the sound of tools in the background. It is a noisy place, but that’s just how GIDC is during the day. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the neighbors change, but we are still here doing our thing. It isn’t a corporate showroom; it is a real engineering shop where we handle parts and repairs. Sometimes the heat in the shed gets a bit much, but we have our fans running and just get on with the job. Most of our morning is spent checking on machines and talking to the guys on the floor. It’s practical work. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Just some people who know their way around textile machinery and a shop floor that’s seen a lot of use over the years. We keep things simple and try to stay busy every day.
