Manchester Textile Engineering Co. We are located at Shastri Laghu Udyog Nagar. It’s a busy spot near Maheshwari Mill here in Tavdipura, Shahibag. If you know Ahmedabad, you know it gets hot. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. The workshop is usually full of the sound of machines and people talking over the noise. We deal with textile engineering parts and stuff like that. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning everywhere. Mostly, we just have our desks and the workshop floor where the real work happens. Sometimes the power goes out, or the rain makes the road outside a bit muddy, but we keep going. Our team is small, just a few guys who know their way around a wrench and a lathe. We started out small and stayed that way because it's easier to manage things ourselves. You can usually find us here from early morning until late evening. There is a tea stall nearby where we all go for a break around four o’clock. People come in with broken parts or needing something custom made, and we see what we can do. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It's just us at 380004. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New buildings coming up, but we are still here in the same spot, doing what we know how to do best. It’s honest work and we like it that way.
