Gopal Textile Engineers

Our workshop is located on Shastri Road in Bapunagar, which is a pretty crowded spot most days. If you find Prem Biscuits or the Raghunath School, we are right across from there. We’ve been dealing with textile machinery and parts for a good many years. Being engineers in this specific field means we spend a lot of time with grease on our hands fixing things. It’s not a glamorous job but the textile mills around here need their parts working to keep their own production lines moving. We have a small team of guys who know these machines inside out. Sometimes a customer comes in with a part that’s completely broken and we have to figure out how to get it running again. Most of our day is spent at the lathes or welding bits together. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer months. We don't really do much advertising because the local shops know where we are. We just focus on getting the repairs done so people can get back to their work. Shastri Road is always loud with traffic, so we usually have the radio playing in the background to keep us going. We try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. It’s a simple life, just engineering and making sure the machines don’t stop. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot.
