Asma Masala

If you are looking for Asma Masala, you have to head inside the Jamalpur Gate. We are tucked away in Bechar Ghachi Delo. It’s actually inside Munna Stores, so you might walk right past if you aren’t paying attention. The whole area is always crowded and smells like food, mostly because we are right opposite the Bera Samosa Center. You can hear the noise from the street all day long. It’s one of those old parts of the city where the lanes are narrow and everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a small operation where we handle our masalas and talk to the regulars who come in. Sometimes the smell of the spices gets really strong, especially when the air is still. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors or the people waiting for their samosas across the way. It’s a busy spot, and there is always something going on outside the door. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time now. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but it’s where we belong. We just do our work, keep the shelves stocked at Munna Stores, and manage things as they come. There is no big secret to how we do things at Asma Masala.
