A Swastik Dry Fruits & Spices

You can find us on the 3rd floor of the Madhupura Commercial Center. We are right by the Madhupura Chowk at Door No-307. Being up on the third floor means we carry everything up and down the stairs. It keeps us moving. Madhupura is a very crowded market, so there is always a lot of shouting and horns honking downstairs. We deal with dry fruits and different kinds of spices. Our shop is filled with heavy bags of almonds, cashews, and raisins. We also have jars of spices everywhere. It is a tight space, so we have to stack things all the way to the ceiling. We spend the day weighing out portions and talking to the people who climb the stairs to find us. It is not a fancy showroom. It is more of a working office and a store room. The air smells sweet from the raisins and a bit sharp from the spices. We often have to navigate the narrow hallways when we are moving new stock in. It gets very busy around festival times when everyone is looking for nuts and spices for their cooking. We just keep our heads down and get the bagging done. It is a lot of counting and sealing packets, over and over. We like being in the middle of Madhupura Chowk because that is where the real business happens, even if the stairs are long.
