Transportation Logistics

This business is based out in Village Mandal Gadiguda, which is quite a way out in the Adilabad district. We handle a lot of moving parts here at Transportation Logistics, mostly dealing with trucks and keeping them on the road. It’s not the easiest place to operate from because the roads can be quite difficult, especially during the monsoon season when everything gets muddy and slippery. We have a small yard where the drivers park and wait for their next assignment. There is usually a lot of noise from engines idling and people shouting to get things loaded up. Our day starts early, often before the sun is even up, to get the first batch of vehicles moving. We don't have a big polished headquarters. It’s mostly just a basic room with some ledgers and a phone that never stops ringing. Dealing with logistics means something is always going wrong somewhere, like a flat tire or a late delivery, and we just have to fix it. We know most of the routes around Telangana pretty well by now. The drivers are tough people who spend weeks away from home, and we try to look out for them. It’s a gritty job with plenty of grease and paperwork, but it’s essential for getting goods where they need to go. We just try to keep the wheels turning and the schedules as tight as possible despite all the hurdles.
