Parvathi Travels

Parvathi Travels is run from H. No. 1-102 in the village of Pippaldhari. It is a small setup where we mostly help people get to the bigger towns or cities when they have work or a family emergency. We have a couple of cars that we try to keep as clean as possible, though the dusty roads around the village make that a constant battle. People usually walk up to the house to book a ride or just call us on the mobile. We do a lot of trips for weddings where the whole family piles in, or sometimes it's just one person needing to catch a train. The car maintenance is the biggest chore, especially with the potholes that seem to pop up overnight. I spend a lot of my Sunday mornings checking the tire pressure and cleaning the floor mats. It’s just me and my cousin doing the driving most of the time. We know all the shortcuts through the back roads, which helps when someone is in a hurry. It’s not a big agency with a website or anything like that. We just rely on people in Pippaldhari knowing who we are and what we do. Sometimes we’re out all night on a long trip and then back again the next morning to start over. It’s a simple life, just driving and talking to people.
