Laxmi Prasanna Travels

Laxmi Prasanna Travels is located at 1-3-24 Gollapet in Nirmal, which is a place most people know if they live around here. We’ve got a small office where we handle all the bookings for the buses and the private cars. It’s usually a bit of a mess with ticket stubs, ledgers, and the phone ringing every few minutes with someone asking about the departure times. The furniture is a bit old and the cushions on the chairs have gone flat, but it’s a place to sit while we wait for the next group of passengers. Nirmal is a nice town, but the roads can be a bit rough, so we spend a lot of time and money on maintenance to keep the vehicles from breaking down in the middle of nowhere. Early mornings are the busiest time when the first buses are heading out and everyone is trying to find their seat and stow their luggage. We don't have a big marketing plan or a glossy brochure; we just put our name on the side of the buses and let people see us driving by. Sometimes a driver calls in sick and I have to scramble to find a replacement at four in the morning, which isn't much fun. But we’ve been doing this for a while and we know how to handle the ups and downs of the travel business without making a big fuss.
