Rainbowagro Farmer Producer Company is located in Umari, Umerkhed, specifically with Chandraprabha Fulari. We are a bunch of local growers who decided to put our resources together. Umerkhed is our home, and we know every corner of these fields. The idea was pretty basic: let's stop trying to do everything solo and see if we can help one another. We don't have a big office building or anything like that. We just use the space we have to talk about the harvest and how we are going to move our goods. Sometimes the market prices are down and it feels like we are working for nothing, but having the group helps us stay patient. We share advice on what crops are looking good and which ones are struggling this year. It is a very hands-on kind of thing. If someone's tractor is stuck or they need an extra hand with the picking, we try to be there. We are just ordinary people who spend our days out in the sun. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy logo that means anything special. We just want to make sure we can sell what we grow for a decent price so we can keep the lights on. It’s about being part of the community here in Umari and making sure we all get by together.
