Vishal Bartan Bhandar

Vishal Bartan Bhandar is located on Uttam Nagar Bal Udhyan Road L-30. It’s a typical local shop where we sell everything you’d need for a kitchen. From small spoons and knives to those huge cooking pots used for big family gatherings. We also have tiffins for school kids and bottles for office goers. The shop front is usually covered with hanging pans and stacks of buckets that take up half the sidewalk. I’ve been running this place for quite a few years now. Uttam Nagar Bal Udhyan Road L-30 is a crowded place, and it gets quite a lot of foot traffic. People usually come in when they are setting up a new kitchen or if they need a gift for a housewarming party. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just show people what we have and they pick what they like. Sometimes people want to exchange their old brass or copper items for new steel ones, and we handle those deals too. It’s a lot of cleaning and dusting because the metal catches the dust from the road very quickly. My son helps out in the afternoons after he finishes his college. We aren’t looking to become some big chain; we are happy just serving the people who live in the lanes around here. Every day is mostly the same, talking to customers and making sure the inventory is right. It's a simple way to earn a living for my family.
