Down in Tilak Nagar, near the Tilak Bazar Chowk, is where you’ll find us. We’re at plot number 1033/2. It’s a spot where there’s always something happening outside. We spend most of our time inside the shop or the back area dealing with the products we make. It’s not a glamorous job, just honest work every day. We start early because the market gets packed fast and it’s hard to get anything delivered after ten in the morning. People walk in asking for all sorts of things, and we do our best to find what they need in the stacks. The shelves are pretty high, so we’re always climbing up and down. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour, and we just sit and talk until the generator kicks in or the lights come back. It’s a local business, through and through. We know the other shopkeepers around the chowk, and we usually have lunch around the same time. The address is easy to remember once you’ve been here once. We’ve got some old desks that have seen better days, but they hold the ledger just fine. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because that's not what the customers are here for. They just want their stuff so they can go back to their own work. We keep it simple and keep moving along with the rest of the bazar.
