Sonara Appliances

We have this small shop at 79 A, Phase 1 A, in the Om Vihar area of Uttam Nagar. It is right on Shivshankar Road. We sell all kinds of home appliances like stoves, fans, and mixers. The shop is often full of boxes because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand for the locals. It is a busy street and people are always popping in to ask prices or to see if we can fix something they bought years ago. We have been here for quite some time now. It’s a family-run place and we don't have many employees. We do most of the heavy lifting and cleaning ourselves. The shelves are a bit crowded and the lighting isn't the best, but it works for us. We try to be helpful to anyone who walks through the door. If a customer is looking for something we don't have, we try to tell them where they might find it. We stay open until late in the evening because that is when most people are heading home from work. The neighborhood is very crowded but friendly. We know many of the families who live in the nearby blocks. It’s not a big fancy showroom like you see in the malls. It is just a local shop where we try to provide what people need for their kitchens and homes. It’s a decent way to spend the day.
