V K Steel Fabricator

We’ve been running V K Steel Fabricator for a good while now here in Hastal Village. If you know where the old Dal Mill is in Uttam Nagar, you’ve probably walked right past us at Kh 55/10. It’s a busy spot. Most days the shop is full of the sound of grinders and the smell of welding. We spend a lot of time working with different types of metal, mostly just getting through the orders that come in from the neighborhood. It’s not a quiet job. We have a few guys who handle the heavy lifting and the cutting. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, but that’s just how it is around here. We usually start quite early in the morning before it gets too hot. There’s always steel pipes or sheets leaned up against the walls waiting to be worked on. It’s a small space, but we make it work for what we need. People come in asking for all sorts of things, maybe a gate or some window bars, and we just figure out how to get it done. We don't really have a fancy office or anything like that. Just the workshop and our tools. Most of our day is spent making sure the measurements are right and the welds are strong. It can be hard work on the back, but it keeps us busy. We like being part of the local scene here in Uttam Nagar. We've seen a lot of changes over the years but the work remains the same for us.
