Swagat Exports

Swagat Exports operates out of 2A/40, Ramesh Nagar. It’s a smallish space, but we make it work for everything we need to do. Ramesh Nagar is a busy residential and commercial mix, so there’s always something happening right outside our door. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking through lists of what needs to be shipped out next. It’s the kind of place where the desk is always cluttered with pens that don't work and old receipts. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees; it’s just a handful of us who’ve been working together for a while. We know the routine inside out by now. The morning starts with opening up the shutters and letting some air in, then it’s straight into the emails. Sometimes we have to move furniture around just to fit a particularly large shipment in for the day. It’s a lot of physical effort and sometimes our backs ache by the end of the week. We don't have any fancy mission statements hanging on the walls, just a calendar with some dates circled in red. We’ve been at 2A/40 for several years and it feels like home to us now. It’s just a regular local business trying to get the job done right and making sure we stay on top of the orders. We take our lunch breaks together most days and usually just get something from the stall around the corner.
