India Export Corporation

India Export Corporation is located at B-18 on the second floor in Janak Puri. We’ve been here for a good while, and most people in the block know who we are. Janak Puri is a nice area, a bit more organized than the center of the city, which makes our daily commute a lot easier. Our office is a simple one. We have a couple of rooms where we handle all the export documents and talk to shipping agents. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a kettle and some jars of tea. Most of our day is spent making sure that the things we are sending out are packed right and the labels are correct. It’s a lot of double-checking and making sure the paperwork matches up. We’ve had the same staff for years, so we all know how the others work. We don't really do much advertising. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen our name on a shipping crate. It’s a quiet business, really. We just focus on the task at hand and try to avoid any unnecessary drama. Our desks are covered in sticky notes and old calendars. It might look a bit messy to someone else, but we know where everything is. We just want to do our job and go home at the end of the day.
