Star India Exports

Rohtak Road is always packed with traffic, especially near Mianwali Nagar. Our place, Star India Exports, is at B 6/17. It’s a solid building, though the stairs are a little steep if you’re carrying anything heavy. We spend most of our time in the back where we keep the inventory. The front area has a couple of old wooden desks where we handle the paperwork and answer the phone when it rings. It’s often quite dusty because of all the construction happening nearby on Rohtak Road. We keep a broom handy, but it’s a losing battle most days. At B 6/17, we have a small crew and we’ve all worked together for a long time. We know each other's habits and how we like the tea. Star India Exports isn't the kind of place with a glass front and a receptionist. It’s more of a warehouse feel where the main goal is just getting things packed up and sent out on time. The windows look out over a small alleyway where the local cats like to hang out. It’s a very ordinary spot for an export business, and we don’t really try to make it look like anything else. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a steady rhythm that suits us just fine. Life moves slow in this little corner. We are content staying here at B 6/17 for now.
