Solid Exports

Our little setup over at 2-5A in Rajouri Garden is where we handle all the export stuff. It’s a typical Delhi building where we’ve taken over a section to run our business. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking where shipments are or making sure the labels have the right codes on them. Rajouri Garden is a busy place, so there’s always something happening right outside our door, like the vegetable sellers shouting or the rickshaws honking at each other. Inside the office, it’s a bit of a mess with samples spread out on the tables and boxes stacked up in the corner waiting for the courier to arrive. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that; usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it when someone knocks. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep track of all the different time zones our contacts are in. It can get a bit stressful when a container is delayed at the port, and you’ll hear us all talking at once trying to find a solution. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there, just a solid one that does what it says it’s going to do. The carpets are a bit worn out and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a comfortable enough place to spend the day and get the work finished before heading home.
