Shree Mahalaxmi Steel Industries

Out here in Village Ranholla, things are a bit different than the main city. We are located at Khasra No.76, which can be a bit tricky for people to find the first time they visit us in Nangloi. Shree Mahalaxmi Steel Industries is basically a big yard with a lot of metal and heavy machinery. It is dusty and loud, but that is just the nature of working with steel. We spend most of our mornings moving things around and loading up the trucks. The weather really affects us here. When it rains, the ground gets muddy, and when it’s summer, the metal gets too hot to touch without thick gloves. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. There is just a small office room where we keep the books and take calls. Most of the guys have been working here for years, so we have a good rhythm going. We get our tea from a small shop nearby, and that’s usually the highlight of our afternoon break. Nangloi is an industrial area, so we are surrounded by other workshops and warehouses. It’s not the prettiest place to work, but it’s where we get things done. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on the steel and making sure the counts are right. It's hard work, but it’s honest. That’s about all there is to say about us.
