We are located at A/19 in the Shankar Garden area of New Delhi, right near Dholi Piau on Najafgarh Road. Being on such a major road means there is never a quiet moment. We deal in iron and steel, so our yard is constantly filled with heavy metal bars, sheets, and pipes. It is a dusty and noisy environment, but that is the nature of the steel business. We spend our days loading trucks and talking to contractors who need materials for their construction projects. The New Delhi heat can be brutal when you are working around all that metal, but we just keep at it. Our office is a small room on the premises where we keep the ledger and handle the cash. It isn’t anything special to look at, just a place to sit down for a minute and get the paperwork done. We don’t go for fancy slogans or big promises. We just tell people what we have in stock and how much it costs today. Sometimes we run low on certain sizes and have to wait for the next shipment to arrive. People around Shankar Garden know us as the place to go when they need steel in a hurry. It is hard work that leaves you tired at the end of the shift, but we have been doing it this way for a long time now. We just focus on the iron and the daily grind.
