Radhey Mohan International

Mayapuri Phase 1 is a tough place to work if you don't like noise. It's an industrial hub, and our spot at B-70C is right in the thick of it. Radhey Mohan International has been running out of this building for years. The street outside is usually blocked with tempos and cycle rickshaws carrying loads of scrap or metal parts. Inside, it's a mix of office space and storage. We have stacks of papers and samples everywhere. It’s not a showroom. It’s a working office. We deal with international trade, which means someone is always on the phone at odd hours. The walls are a bit stained from years of Delhi dust, and the AC struggles when it hits 45 degrees outside. We usually order tea from the stall at the corner, and the boy brings it in those little glass cups. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need many rules. We just know what needs to be done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and everything gets quiet for a second, which is a strange feeling in Mayapuri. Then the generators kick in and the noise starts up again. We aren't looking to be the biggest company, just a group that stays in its lane and finishes the work on the desk. It’s not much, but it’s our corner of the industrial area in New Delhi, and we make it work.
