Prince Gas Crockery House

Prince Gas Crockery House is located in Shivaji Market, Shop No 189. If you’ve ever been to Tagore Garden, you know how packed it can get. Our shop is filled from floor to ceiling with all kinds of things. We have gas stoves, spare parts, and stacks of crockery everywhere. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know where every single plate and burner is kept. People come in looking for specific parts for their old stoves, and we usually have them tucked away somewhere in the back. The market is noisy and there’s always someone shouting or moving boxes. We spend a lot of time unpacking new stock and cleaning the dust off the shelves. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just open the shutters every morning and wait for customers to walk in. Some days it’s very busy and we barely have time to eat lunch. Other days it’s slow, and we sit outside on stools watching the people go by. We’ve been in Shivaji Market for a long time and have seen many shops come and go. We just keep doing what we do, selling kitchen stuff and fixing gas connections. It’s practical work and we’re used to the hustle. The shelves are a bit crooked, but they hold the weight just fine.
