Prakash Industries Ltd is located over at Padma Tower-1 in Rajendra Place. If you know the area, you know it’s a hub of activity with lots of offices and people rushing around all day long. Our office isn’t much different from the others in the building. It’s filled with desks, stacks of papers, and the sound of phones ringing. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while, seeing the neighborhood change and the traffic get heavier every year. Our daily routine is mostly about staying on top of the industrial side of the business. There’s a lot of coordination involved, talking to suppliers and checking on how things are going at the production sites. We don’t really go in for the whole polished corporate image. We’re just a group of people trying to keep the business steady. Lunch usually involves grabbing something from one of the local stalls nearby and having a quick chat before getting back to the paperwork. It’s a lot of looking at spreadsheets and making sure the logistics aren’t getting tangled up. Some days are more stressful than others, especially when there’s a deadline looming, but we manage to get through it. It’s just regular office life in a busy part of town. We’re here every morning, doing what needs to be done to keep the wheels turning.
